The beauty of psychoanalysis? It lies in its exploratory, artistic nature, in its ability to make us cast a gaze where there was only darkness. Sometimes automatic patterns arise within us, reactions that are almost predictable, either by ourselves or by those who know us well, or we feel unwell but cannot fully understand why: we might make the mistake of calling it “our character” or, worse, “our destiny.” Psychoanalysis can help us go deeper, to understand, and to become aware.

Does it seem like I am talking about meditation or evoking certain concepts from Buddhist philosophy? Indeed, some aspects closely connect these disciplines, and it is precisely from their intersection that I developed my approach: Clinical Philosophy.

I see clients in Padua (office at via Guizza 233, clinic at via Svizzera 8) and online, via WhatsApp, Teams, and Google Meet. Online sessions are also available for hearing-impaired patients.

The first meeting is always completely free of charge. Why?

The first time I meet someone, I want to understand if I can be helpful. What happens is simple: no one owes anything to anyone, we are two human beings facing each other, each with their own story. During the session, you will never be asked whether you want to continue; it will be the patient’s choice in the following days whether a joint path could be helpful and, if so, to contact me.

And what if you don’t want to continue? No explanation is owed to me: the free session ends with a mutual “thank you,” simply for having spent time together, for having taken the time to listen to one another. That’s all.

I work with depressive and anxious symptoms, existential issues, eating disorders, and addiction, supporting people through the intense and difficult moments of their lives. I incorporate elements of Buddhist philosophy and meditation, a practice that I also teach.

A field of my recent interest is perinatal psychology: having a child is an opportunity not only for joy, but also for significant tensions, adjustments, and reevaluations.

Two people become parents and face a period of intense changes, both as individuals and as a couple. During this delicate time, it can be helpful—and sometimes necessary—to have qualified support, for both the mother and the father.
